Used to relate text on a map to database attributes. The Text Manager dialog provides a set of text tools to create database records from text elements, join text elements to existing database records, update database records to reflect text strings, and populate text strings based upon database column values. In general, these tools work on either text strings or text nodes. When text elements are used for Insert, Join, and Update, only the first column named in the Column text field applies. But, if a text node is used, all columns apply.
